Usually, you'll find me doing karaoke with my family, but lately I've been inspired to step out on my own and share my passion with a wider audience. As a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter, I've created Sudbury's Sabrina as a tribute act inspired by her music, confidence, and fun stage presence. I'm doing this talent show to promote myself as an entertainer for parties, community events, and special occasions, while gaining experience and having fun along the way."

It would be amazing to be able to show off my talents as a dancer and performer in your talent show."

Other than performing, I enjoy playing video games, helping people (volunteering, helping my parents, etc.), and playing with my two pet rats Peggy and Petunia.

Throughout her life, Anisha has faced significant health challenges. At just six months old, she was hospitalized for weeks with sepsis. As she grew older, she experienced multiple hospital stays due to breathing complications, and at the age of 13, she underwent gallbladder removal surgery after ongoing stomach issues. In true Anisha fashion, she came to rehearsal immediately after her surgery because she didn't want to miss a single moment.

Despite every obstacle, Anisha has never allowed her health challenges to define or limit her. She is a fighter with an incredible passion for performing, and she is excited to take the stage and compete in the Sudbury Talent Show.

Mikailla

Mikailla is 17 years old and has been performing since she was 7. She began by participating in church groups and performing in Christmas plays before joining a theatre in a neighbouring community, where she truly discovered her passion for the stage.

That passion inspired her mom to establish a local youth theatre group, and Mikailla has been part of West Nipissing Dream Catchers Theatre for the past seven years. Last season, she stepped into the role of Assistant Vocal Director, where she now uses her experience and skills to help younger performers build confidence, develop their talents, and thrive in a positive and encouraging environment.

Recently, Mikailla experienced a series of heartbreaking family losses. Through it all, music and performance became a source of healing, strength, and hope.

Her musical inspirations include Noah Kahan, Billie Eilish, and Michael Jackson, while her greatest influences in performance are Jeremy Jordan, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, and Meryl Streep.

Mikailla recently attended the Canadian Model and Talent Convention (CMTC), where she was offered a recording contract by Eric Johnson with Ni Music Group in Los Angeles.

Mikailla's goal is simple: to be the kind of performer who makes people truly feel something.
